‘Go Away’ is a call for retreat, a demand that humans step back, stop speaking, and cease their interference with the natural world. It reflects a quiet but firm resistance to destruction: the idea that the earth knows how to heal, to balance, to be, if only we would let it. This work speaks to the necessity of withdrawal before collapse, of leaving before we unravel what cannot be remade. It’s about allowing what must unfold to do so, without control, without force.
Presented alongside Ask the Bees, the two works together embody the tension between action and surrender, presence and absence, intervention and trust. A visceral push and pull between the desire to engage and the wisdom of letting go.
